Lake Norman, NC
At 34 miles long and over 520 miles of shoreline, Lake Norman is the largest man-made lake in North Carolina. It was named after Norman Atwater Cocke, who was the former president of Duke Energy for almost 50 years.

Lake Norman is found just 20 miles north of Charlotte, NC. This community attracts nature-lovers, adventurers, and 'lake-life' people from all over. Lake Norman actually borders 4 different towns including Mooresville, Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, and Denver. While there is of course plenty of fishing, paddle boarding, boating, and water sports to go around - Lake Norman also offers some amazing family-friendly attractions and delicious dining options, too!
